‘Let’s Not Use Grammy To Measure Talent’  Fuse ODG – Ghanaian born musical artist, Fuse ODG is reminding Ghanaians that winning Grammys isn’t the estimation of any artiste’s talent. Fuse ODG is a Grammy champ after Ed Sheeran’s “Divide” collection which features him, won the ‘Best Pop Vocal Album’ at the 2018 Grammy Awards.

His remarks come at the back of some Ghanaian music darlings who are continually chastening artistes for not winning the esteemed honor. As indicated by the ‘TINA’ artist, even Bob Marley doesn’t have a Grammy and that doesn’t mean the legendary reggae isn’t talented.

According to Fuse ODG, Ghanaian craftsmen are beyond the Grammy Awards. Talking during an interview with Andy Dosty on Daybreak Hitz today, the artist likewise advised Ghanaian performers not to restrict their talents to an award scheme they are bigger than.

He accentuates that they should focus on outfitting their talents and showing the world what they can do with them since there are a ton of artists that have had the option to accomplish a ton of things without the Grammys.

“I think we need to be careful so we don’t equate the Grammys to talent. Ghana has some of the best talents that the world has ever seen,” he revealed to Andy Dosty.

“In the afrobeats scene, Ghana has contributed next to Nigeria more than any country in the World. We have broken records that nobody has ever broken before so Ghana to me, is way above the Grammys,” he added.

He urged Ghanaians not to burn through their effort on some unacceptable things yet rather celebrate their achievements in the craft
